Vacations & Holidays
During their first year of employment at IZEA, team members will receive 29 paid time off (PTO) days, composed of 15 fixed company holidays, four ad-hoc, “floating” holidays and up to 10 unfixed PTO days that accrue.

Meet the People Operations Team
Kaila is a dedicated and dynamic professional with a background in employee experience and engagement. She has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Florida State University and a master’s degree in college student personnel from Bowling Green State University. Kaila joined IZEA in 2021 as Head of Workplace Culture. With the creation of IZEA’s People Operations department in 2024, integrating Talent Acquisition and Workplace Culture, Kaila and her team are dedicated to supporting employees throughout their entire journey, ensuring that their experience as part of #TeamIZEA is engaging, fulfilling, and enjoyable. As Senior Director of People Operations, Kaila supports IZEA’s phenomenal recruiters, facilitates the onboarding process, and plans company-wide events focused on sustaining and enhancing IZEA’s vibrant and collaborative company culture. She is passionate about fostering a positive and inclusive working environment where each IZEAn can thrive and have fun! Born and raised in Florida, Kaila now enjoys the less humid climate of Los Angeles.
Jasmine is a highly skilled Senior Recruiter with nearly a decade of experience identifying, attracting and hiring top talent for organizations across various industries. She manages the entire recruitment process and works closely with hiring managers to understand and meet staffing needs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and has a background in customer service, real estate, and management. Jasmine specializes in various recruitment strategies and building strong relationships with candidates and clients. She resides in Georgia with her husband and son.
Cathy is a seasoned recruiter with over 20 years of expertise in full-cycle talent acquisition across multiple departments. She holds a bachelor of science from Eastern Michigan University and has extensive experience in recruitment, management, and sales. At IZEA, Cathy excels in sourcing and recruiting top talent for engineering, sales, finance, and various other roles within the organization. Prior to joining IZEA, she built her career at staffing agencies, successfully recruiting for clients in diverse industries. Cathy currently resides in Michigan with her husband and teenage children.
